Provide an interpreted low-tide level imagery from which the tide line was interpreted. These data can be used in conjunction with other data layers for improving the understanding of the physical characteristics of the Penobscot Bay study area. This is part of a project titled 'Applications of Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems for Marine Resource Management in Penobscot Bay, Maine’.Processing began at the National Geophysical Data Center, in Boulder, Colorado, an orthophoto mosaic was constructed using 76 aerial photographs obtained from NOAA's National Ocean Service, using Socet Set photogrammetric software. The photography was collected at low tide stage, on four dates in 1982 and 1983. After digital scanning the photography had a pixel resolution of 1.2 meters. After mosaicking, a vector layer of the interpreted low-tide line was delineated.

[ "imageryBaseMapsEarthCover", "ortho", "orthoimagery", "orthophotography", "GeoLibrary", "Maine", "MaineGeoLibrary", "MaineGIS", "coastal", "Penobscot Bay", "1982", "1983"
Image Service
Data", "Service", "Image Service", "ArcGIS Server"
E7
