Digital Elevation Model (DEM) is the terminology adopted by USGS to describe terrain elevation data sets in a digital raster form. The standard DEM consists of an array of elevations from ground positions at regularly spaced intervals, cast on a designated coordinate projection system. Elevation values are in meters. The data are a combination of DEMs from various lidar collections in Maine ranging from 2006 to 2013. The data overall are accurate to RSMEz 15cm.", "summary": "Elevation LiDAR derivative surface DEM covering the spatial extent of LiDAR data collected within the bounds of Maine USA and a temporal extent of 2006 - 2013.", "title": "Maine_Elevation_DEM_2_Meter", "tags": [ "elevation", "LiDAR derivative", "surface", "Digital Elevation Model", "DEM", "State of Maine", "MaineIT GIS", "MEGIS", "Maine GeoLibrary" ], "type": "Image Service", "typeKeywords": [ "ArcGIS Server", "Data", "Image Service", "Service" ], "thumbnail": "", "url": "https://gis.maine.gov/image", "minScale": 1.4760773537799716E8, "maxScale": 72074.08954003768, "spatialReference": "NAD_1983_UTM_Zone_19N", "accessInformation": "State of Maine, MaineIT GIS, Maine GeoLibrary", "licenseInfo": "Access: Public.
