Approximate boundary of each subdivision approved by the Maine Land Use Planning Commission from its inception in 1971 through current day. For the purposes of this dataset, “subdivision” means each permit action approved by the Commission that authorized the placement of 3 or more dwellings or the creation of 3 or more parcels in one action. This dataset does not include actions within minor civil divisions which have since left the Commission’s service area.
