Service Description: This service contains the locations of Maine DEP regulated sites that are potentially vulnerable to sea level rise/storm surge. This study focuses on above and below ground storage tanks, wastewater treatment plants, remediation sites (superfund, brownfield, etc), and closed landfills within Maine. The scenarios were developed by the Maine Geological Survey and are on top of the maximum predicted astronomical high tide for the current National Tidal Datum Epoch (1983-2001). The scenarios used here are 1.6ft, 3.9ft, and 8,8ft. Additional site types have been analyzed as part of this study but couldn't be included due to personally sensitive information.
